Q. Why is your Website called Bebes Backyard and the photos are signed as Cheri?
A.”Bebe” is a nickname for Grandma used by our two wonderful Granddaughters.
Q. Where do you take most of your photos? 
A. In my backyard, located in Northern California, Lincoln.
Q. What’s your favorite bird? 
A. Easy! Black Phoebe.
Q. Why is the Black Phoebe your favorite?
A. The Black Phoebe is an awesome flycatcher. It sits on rocks, bridges, fences or any type of perch while hunting insects that fly by. It has a streamlined body that helps diving and flying.
Q. What time of the year do you take most of your photos? 
A. In the winter months. It’s easier to locate birds and animals without leaves on trees. Also, the lighting outdoors is better when there’s cloud cover. The sky and sun usually determine the outcome of a photo.
Q. Which eye do you use to take a picture?
A. Left eye. Everyone’s different.
Q. How long have you been taking photos?
A. Since I was a kid. In 2016, I received a DSLR Canon camera bundle from my husband. The camera changed my life! That special camera took its last photo, August 2021. But, in October 2021, again received a brand new Canon bundle, from my gift giving hubby. 😀💕
